Fascinated by how curation can serve as a nexus that introduces conversation, critique, and debate into the existing institutional frameworkof both fine arts practice and its display within the broader arts.

Over the years, she has been captivated by institutional critique as a method to engage the gaps in art collections, linking her
praxis to the broader cultural context of international art activism. Her interests also lie at the intersections of race, gender, and sexuality, which continually inform and shape her work.
she considers herself a cultural worker who aims to create curatorial interventions that ‘disturb the
comfortable and comfort the disturbed.’ she firmly believes that while institutions are undoubtedly
powerful, they are not monoliths. They are rhetorically constructed by human designs, their
power reinforced by buildings, laws, tradition, and knowledge-making practices. Therefore, they
are changeable. Her goal is to contribute to this ongoing process of transformation within the
arts and cultural sectors.
